Over 65,000 people live in Ward 22 with the city’s highest percentage of tenants and yet we are the only ward without a community centre. Sure people can take the subway to other centres but they are often at full capacity and getting your kids into popular affordable programs like swimming and skating can be impossible.

Davisville Public School is a TDSB priority to be rebuilt by 2020 and they plan to sell an acre of land to fund it. Midtown Hub is a new community group working together with a mandate to ensure that this land is developed to serve and meet our community needs rather than to build more condos.

The Midtown Hub community group is connecting with all levels of government and private funders to encourage them to partner and invest in a community hub.
